Loss of faith over leaf blower flip-flop

Editor, Index-Tribune:

For years I supported Ken Brown for the City Council – including placement of his campaign signs in my front yard. This year I have a different sign indicating we should “blow out” Ken Brown – primarily due to his questionable decision-making criteria. When Mr. Brown decided to flip-flop on the leaf blower issue, I lost complete faith in him. He had assured us that he would ban the gas-powered leaf blowers.

If he can change his mind after assurances, my concern is, who are his constituents?

I respectfully disagree with the Index-Tribune’s endorsement of Mr. Brown, and strongly encourage your readers to look at all of the new talent that is running for these council openings. Sixteen years is enough.
