Impact100 Sonoma is kicking off its 2021 membership drive with a series of online events to introduce prospective new members to the women’s collective grant-making organization.

With the COVID-19 pandemic and related economic challenges having effects on the health and well-being of Sonoma Valley residents, the giving circle is putting on a membership drive. All women who are interested in joining Impact100 Sonoma’s efforts in these unprecedented times are invited to attend one of the upcoming virtual new member recruitment events:

There are two Happy Hour & Conversation events on Oct. 8 and 22 at 5:30 p.m. There is a Coffee & Conversation on Oct. 15 at 10 a.m.

Impact100 Sonoma is a women’s collective giving organization that pools its funds to support nonprofits in Sonoma Valley, from Schellville to Kenwood.

Each member donates $1,000 per year and get a vote as to which programs and nonprofits grants go toward. Shared memberships are available, as well as scholarship programs. One hundred percent of every membership donation is used to fund grants each year.

Since its founding in 2009, Impact100 Sonoma has granted almost $2.7 million to nonprofits serving Sonoma Valley, making it one of the Valley’s largest funders.
