Last month, we introduced a redesign of the print edition of the Index-Tribune. This week, we’re debuting a new look for sonomanews.com.

At sonomanews.com you have access to all of our stories from the print edition, with added features like photo galleries and breaking news throughout the day.

We know that many who read the print newspaper every Tuesday and Friday also go to the website for story updates and to view expanded photo galleries. We know you like to share stories with your friends through email or social media. We also know that more and more of you read our stories on your smartphone or on your tablet – a lot more of you.

To better serve that growing audience and offer an enhanced and faster experience on mobile, our team launched a redesigned mobile version of sonomanews.com in December that will adjust to any device. We’ve worked hard to optimize the reader experience, and have a fresh, new look – and hope you like it too.

Now we have just launched a redesigned homepage for desktop, tablet and smartphone. With the modernized design, we’ll be able to showcase more of the amazing photos and videos our staff produces and give you easier access to our latest news and columns.

Have thoughts and ideas on how you want our online coverage to look as news continues to move into the digital age? Send them to TellUs@sonomanews.com.
