Appreciating teachers: Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE) has launched a countywide campaign to build community awareness of Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3-7, and to showcase some of the teachers working in local public schools during these challenging times. A series of posters celebrating teachers' caring and connection with students will run on the back of Sonoma County Transit buses during the months of April and May. The posters include photographs of elementary school educators chosen to represent their colleagues through nominations received through the Sonoma County Teacher of the Month program. View all the bus signs at scoe.org/files/Teacher_bus_signs.pdf.
