The Sonoma Index-Tribune held its annual People’s Choice awards to recognize the best of Sonoma’s businesses and entrepreneurs at Buena Vista Winery on Thursday, Sept. 29.

The ceremony recognized dozens of the most impactful members of Sonoma’s business community, from best personal trainer to best grocery store among dozens of awards.

Readers cast their top picks in various categories — from bars and restaurants to financial planners and mechanics — giving a spotlight to the Valley’s finest business people.

The awards kicked off with a performance from the Transcendence Theatre Company whose members sang pop hits, followed by an operatic number from La Bohème. Guests enjoyed a bevy of kebabs, cake and charcuterie from Delicious Dish catering.
