Who’s serving Christmas dinner?

Several Sonoma restaurants offer Christmas Eve or Christmas dinners to be picked up Christmas Eve day. Most feature short ribs, other cuts of beef, or ham, without one mention of turkey. (Try Black Bear Diner for turkey.)

Here’s a sampling of entrées: Glen Ellen Star: Beef Wellington ($65); Delicious Dish: boneless Angus short ribs ($90 serves 2); El Dorado Kitchen: ham, short ribs or spinach ravioli ($65); Reel & Brand: New York steak; Girl & the Fig: beef short ribs, trout or winter squash ragout ($100 to $120 for two or four, caviar service.) Contact each restaurant soon for these full three- or four-course dinners and what they still have left.
