Trade association board of directors:

Prema Behan will again lead the SVVGA.

The Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers Alliance (SVVGA) announced the new – and continuing -- leadership.

Staying on as president of the board of directors is Prema Behan, general manager of Three Sticks Wines and Head High Wines. This will be her third and final year in this role.

Tom Rouse of Landmark Vineyards takes over as vice president for Erich Bradley, of Pangloss Cellars and Repris, who moves over to the role of secretary.

Stepping in as co-treasurers are Steven Sangiacomo of Sangiacomo Family Vineyards and Anne Moller-Racke of Blue Farm Wines and Stone Edge Farm Estate Vineyards and Winery.

Other newly elected board directors include Tom Blackwood of Buena Vista Winery and Mia Stornetta of Atlas Vineyard Management; community members, Quinn Arntsen of Farella Braun and Martel, Justin Bain of MacArthur Place and Tim Zahner of Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau.

Promotion at Foley Family Wines

Foley Family Wines promoted Sarah Quider to vice president of winemaking. Her role was expanded after Foley acquired Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery where she was executive winemaker. She will oversee winemaking for the company’s Sonoma County portfolio that includes Chalk Hill, Lancaster and Sebastiani.

Valentine’s Day

Bartholomew Estate Winery has a boxed gift set of two of their wines with chocolate truffles from Sonoma’s Wine Country Chocolates.

Kivelstadt Cellars Wine Garden and Eatery is offering a Cupids Brunch, a brunch box for two people that includes quiche, a basket of scones, and a green salad along with a special cheese plate.

Anaba Wines Sweet Nothings gift set

Anaba partnered with Sonoma County organic, vegan and handmade chocolatier Sjaaks – a woman-owned company -- and put together a gift set that includes Anaba’s 2018 Late Harvest Viognier paired with Sjaak's Peanut Butter Crunch vegan Sweetheart and the 2017 Red Aeroport paired with Sjaaks Raspberry Truffle Sweetheart.

Three Sticks’ wine, chocolate and flowers gifts

Three Sticks partnered with Fleur Sauvage and Bloom Event Company to offer three different gift options and available for pick-up at the Sonoma Adobe tasting room Feb. 12 through 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The options include two bottles of Three Sticks wine and Fleur Sauvage chocolate truffles; two bottles of Three Sticks wine with flowers from Bloom Event Company; or a combination of the two that would be two bottles of wine, chocolate and flowers.

Permit Sonoma will present a public workshop on winery events on Thursday, Feb. 18 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The public will have an opportunity to share their thoughts and concerns about the draft County Winery Events Policy.
