Sow the seeds of ‘Victory’

In commemoration of both Earth Day and its own 30th anniversary, the Sonoma Ecology Center is giving away 300 Victory Garden starter kits beginning at 10 a.m. on April 25 in front of Sonoma City Hall. Each box contains everything needed to plant one’s own Victory

Garden: starter plants of squash, cucumber, melons, sunflowers, peas, beans, tomatoes and more; organic carrot and spinach seed packets; a free biochar sample; and simple growing instructions. An online campaign #SECvictorygarden will keep gardeners connected.
