Free Thanksgiving

The Sonoma Community Center is partnering with Vintage House to once again combine their efforts to feed anyone and everyone this Thanksgiving. Due to the pandemic, it will be a walk, ride or drive-thru event again this year. It’s held at the Community Center’s back patio and they ask that people not all show up right at 2 p.m., as it creates a traffic jam. But they’ve never run out of dinners.

The dinner will be made from local fresh ingredients with all the traditional Thanksgiving trimmings. Community center volunteer and Rotarian Gary Edwards and Daniel Quijada will oversee the dinner preparations. Many in the community have again donated supplies and ingredients, including Paul’s Produce, Sonoma Market, Joanne Romanini Distributing, Rotary Club of Sonoma Sunrise, Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley and Bright Event Rentals. Desserts, like pumpkin and apple pies, will again be provided by Vintage House.

The dinner is free to the community, however donations are graciously accepted to offset the costs of the event.

Time and Place: Pick up between 2-5 p.m. at the Sonoma Community Center, 276 E. Napa St. in Sonoma.
