The Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce has launched a new breakfast series that is part education, part networking and all served over a hot cup of coffee.

The Community Connections Breakfast series kicks off Tuesday, Feb. 28, with speakers Sen. Bill Dodd, Hanna Center CEO Cameron Safarloo and Sonoma International Film Festival Executive Director Ginny Krieger. The event runs 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn, with the first 30 minute dedicated to networking.

Dodd will discuss efforts the state is making to support small businesses, as well as “rapidly escalating prices and limited availability of homeowners and business liability insurance products,” according to a news release. Safarloo will be joined by Michael Woods, who is overseeing Hanna’s efforts to develop 60 acres on Agua Caliente Road. Krieger will share volunteer opportunities and how to get involved with the film festival.

The cost is $65 for chamber members, or $80 for non-members.

To reserve a ticket, contact 707-996-1033 or amy@sonomachamber.org. The Fairmont is located 100 Boyes Boulevard.
