Does Kamala Harris like good wine?
Apparently so.
Harris is the only candidate of the four vying for the White House who does not profess to be a teetotaler. Both Trump and Biden have alcoholism in their families, and who knows about Pence.
Esther Mobley, wine writer for the San Francisco Chronicle, wrote last Thursday that Harris likes good wine. Evidence: Shauna Rosenblum, winemaker and owner of Rock Wall Wine Co. in a hangar at the former Alameda Naval Air Station, confirmed that Harris is a member of their wine club under a pseudonym.
Rosenblum, daughter of the late “King of Zin” Kent Rosenblum, founded Rock Wall with her father in 2008 after he sold Rosenblum Cellars to wine giant Diageo.
So sometime this spring Rosenblum was loading wine into people’s cars as they drove up - since her tasting room is closed due to COVID - and along came Sen. Kamala Harris driving her own car to pick up her wine, which she asked to have placed in the back seat. Friendly greetings all around.
