Sebastiani Cherryblock Legacy Dinner

Sebastiani Winery returns with its popular Cherryblock Dinner hosted in our historic barrel room to cleebrate the release of its 2019 Cherryblock Cabernet Sauvignon. Guests will enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres, cheese and charcuterie during the welcome reception followed by a family-style dinner paired with Sebastiani wines from the appellation series, including multiple vintages of our iconic Cherryblock.

The cost is $150 for Sebastiani & Connoisseur Club Member, $175 for Sister Winery Club Members and $200 for non-members.

Portraits and Pinot

Get a fabulous Wine Country portrait while sipping some of BR Cohn Winery’s famed pinots on Sunday, Oct. 16, from noon to 4 p.m.

Take advantage of the beautiful views with a mini photo shoot by photographer Jen Philips. The 10-minute session will include 20-30 high resolution digital images and the ability to download, share and order prints.

After your session, adults can enjoy a glass of pinot, with sparkling cider for the kids, along with a cheese and charcuterie box for you all to share. The cost is $350 per session, or $275 for club members. Sign up at brcohn.com.

Kathleen Hill Collection hits Napa, again

Sonoma’s longtime food columnist and author will share her popular “Kathleen Thompson Hill Kitchen Memories Collection” in an evening at Napa’s Rutherford Winery on Wednesday, Oct. 19. This is a permanent collection of Hill’s culinary relics, some dating as far back as the 1800s.

The event will begin with a reception and tour of the collection followed by a sit-down dinner with Sonoma’s Jean-Charles Boisset and Hill, who will speak to some of her favorite pieces.

The Oct. 19 event is only open to invited guests, but is expected to open to the public soon.

Masquerade Ball at Buena Vista

Grab a mask on Saturday, Oct. 29, and head to Buena Vista Winery for a Masquerade Ball at 7 p.m.

Put on your favorite Fedora or flapper and join in celebrating the roaring ‘20s in “Great Gatsby” style. Dance the night away with live music and entertainment while enjoying Buena Vista wines.

Pooches in costumes at Larson

Anyone in the know knows that Larson Family Winery has gone to the dogs. Famous for its 3 Labs Cab, this winery celebrates our four-legged friends every day. But on Sunday, Oct. 30, they take it up a notch with the annual Canine Costume Contest. Have a howlin-good Halloween with prizes for best doggie costumes and enjoy the “paw”rade showcasing everyone’s looks. Check Larsonfamilywinery.com for an entry form and more details.

Cornerstone Sonoma hosts family-friendly harvest party

Cornerstone Sonoma is hosting a harvest party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22. The family-friendly event will feature food from Tank House Farms and Dirty Girl Donuts, wine from Sojourn Cellars, live music by the JimBo Trout Trio, carnival rides, a petting zoo and more.

Tickets are $15 per person, including children, with food and beverages available for purchase. Children are encouraged to come in Halloween costumes.

Indian Chef's Table Experience

Join Gloria Ferrer Winery for the November Chef's Table Series. Executive Chef, Ray Schafer, will take guests on a tasting journey inspired by Indian cuisine and featuring seasonal ingredients straight from our garden. Each of the eight courses will include a small plate paired with a different wine. The event is Friday, Nov. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. The cost is $185 per person and reservations should be made at gloriaferrer.com.
