Earth Day photo contest entry period ends Sunday

City of Sonoma invites community to capture their favorite natural spot in new Earth Week event.|

In celebration of Earth Day, the City of Sonoma is inviting the community to participate in “Earth Action Week,” April 19 to 25.

During Earth Action Week, Sonoma’s “beautiful and precious environment” will be celebrated and residents provided with inspiration to take action, small or large, to be part of the solution to addressing climate change. Visit the Earth Action Week page for information, suggestions, games, actions and tools at sonomacity.org/earth-action.

This year, the City of Sonoma is hosting a photo contest. Residents are asked to capture their favorite natural spot in Sonoma before April 25 and upload it on the city website for a chance to win a sustainable prize.
