Sonoma Farmers Market music lineup

Starting May 7, the Tuesday Night Market, often referred to as the Farmers Market, kicks into gear. The opening night will be KSVY’s 20th Year Anniversary Celebration and Dance Night, and the Soul Section will wrap up the summer night markets with a finale on Sept. 24.

Located in the Sonoma Plaza, this year’s summer markets have a music lineup that goes from rock to folk to country to funk, and back again; offering a little something for everyone.

The usual Fourth of July break and the Zuchinni Races are still in place. Also, the four jazz concert offerings underwritten by the excellent local nonprofit Sonoma Valley Jazz Society are on the schedule.

As always, the music will commence at 6 p.m. with a short break around 7 for important announcements. The selling of fresh produce, corn dogs, and jewelry, along with the live music, will wrap up around 8 p.m.
