Sonoma author releases new thriller
Sonoma author Bruce Koepp has released a new thriller, “Pitfall” under the pen name “Brace Ruben.”
Koepp is a retired pathologist who specialized in anatomy and postmortem examination. He grew up in Minnesota and has lived in Sonoma for more than 40 years. This is his second novel, and it’s based largely on his personal experiences.
Set in lake country in northern Minnesota, “Pitfall” dives into the world of forensics and autopsies. The plot centers on forensic investigator, Dr. Kevin Michaels, and a search for a missing teenager, several inexplicable recent deaths and a cabin fire.
