The Sonoma International Film Festival has announced the two films that earned top audience approval from its recent festival of 40 entries to its Aug. 5 to 8 “Summerfest.”
“June Again,” the Australian film directed by JJ Winlove, won the SIFF Summerfest Audience Award. The movie was featured at the closing night event at Viansa Winery on Aug. 8.
Most popular documentary among festival attendees was “Fries! The Movie,” directed by Michael Steed, about everybody’s favorite potato side dish.
The festival announced its 25th annual festival will take place in March, 2022, and passes will soon become available. Follow sonomafilmfest.org for details.
