Comic Jasper Redd headlines two shows of standup comedy, hosted by Torio Van Grol, at Murphy’s Irish Pub on Saturday, Dec. 27. The shows are at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Redd’s fresh off a run in the most recent season of NBCs “Last Comic Standing” and the release of his Netflix special, “Jazz Talk,”

A native of Tennessee, Redd began his comedy career in San Francisco. He has since been performing non-stop at comedy clubs and colleges all over the country. Known for his eloquent delivery and amazing posture, he’s delighted audiences all over the universe, including four solar systems, with his keen musings on the human condition. He performs regularly on TV, including his own Comedy Central special and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. 

Along with Redd, the show features two up-and-coming comedians, Aviva Siegel and Stephen Furey.
