Strictly Business: Taco spot in Kenwood, Dutch Bros. benefit, warehouse sale and more

Taco truck expansion: Zapata Grill, a family-owned taco trailer, was founded by Jesus and Ariana Canela in summer 2019. Originally its route was from Kenwood to Santa Rosa but the trailer is now officially parked in Kenwood, with an indoor dining area for customers to sit down and enjoy their meal. Zapata Grills serves tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas and more. 9255 Sonoma Highway. It is open Monday to Saturday, at 9:30 a.m. and closes at 3 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays and at 7:30 p.m. the other days.

Benefit: On Friday, Jan. 31, the Dutch Bros. Sonoma and Napa locations will raise funds for the medical expenses of a local man, Eric Padgett, who is currently undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer. The chain will donate $1 from each drink sold at the two locations. Dutch Bros. Coffee is the country's largest privately held drive-thru coffee company, with more than 370 locations and 12,000 employees in seven states.

Warehouse sale: The First Street West home decor/design studio Jak W is having a large warehouse sale in downtown Sonoma from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 8 and 9. The company will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Art Escape and Project Color Corps. All home decor and accessories will be 50-90 percent off. 19449 Riverside Drive, Unit 100. Going it alone: Tax preparer Amanda Johnson has left Taxpertise and now has her own office at 255 W. Napa St. in the space formerly occupied by Christa Granton Insurance. Johnson offers personal and business tax preparation and bookkeeping services. She is an 'enrolled agent' – a federally-licensed tax practitioner with unlimited representation rights before the IRS. Honor: Century 21 real estate agent Marguerita Castanera was recently elected president of the Sonoma Valley Norbar chapter. Castanera was also named the association's Real Estate Agent of the Year in 2019 for her philanthropic work on behalf of the organization.

Art Walk: The February Sonoma Art Walk is on Feb. 6. The opening reception is from 5:30 to 6 p.m. at Cheveux, 156 E. Napa St. More details are at SonomaArtWalk.org.

Garagiste: The Garagiste Festival Northern Exposure will return to the Sonoma Valley Veterans Memorial Building on Saturday, Feb. 15. It will feature 40 winemakers, many new to the festival, pouring more than 100 wines from more than 20 grape varieties. garagistefestival.com.
