New massage spot: A new massage spot, called A Spa, has opened at 18594 Sonoma Highway. The salon offers 30- to 90-minute foot massages for $30 to $55 and 30- to 90-minute oil body massages for $40 to $90, as well as combination massages. They are open seven days a week from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Phone 934-8452.

Open house: The Epicurean Connection is celebrating the grand opening of its Culinary Education Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 19670 Eighth St. E. There will be cheesemaking demonstrations, culinary bites, games, raffles and more.

Donuts: Harvey's Donuts is enjoying brisk business every Friday night in its new pop-up location at 19030 Railroad Ave. There is also now some flyers promising the 'opening soon' of its brick and mortar Plaza location down El Paseo Alley, in the former site of Hare & Hatter. Harvey's daughter Maryn reports that work has begun and the new spot will be called Harvey's Donut Bar. They are painting and prepping the inside and waiting on city permits. They hope to open by the end of the year.

Vietnamese food is here: Pho Ha opened on Nov. 6 at 5656 Fifth St. E. in the space formerly occupied by Shanghai Restaurant. The new Vietnamese restaurant is open six days a week from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Resident Experience Survey: Sonoma County is asking residents to share specific problems or challenges experienced during the PSPS power shutoff and what was effective and helpful during this period at socoemergency.org.

No more bread delivery: Relax and Eat Bread has discontinued home delivery, but you can still buy from the Sonoma Valley bakers at the Springs Farmers Market on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

New hire: Steve Childs has been named as the new president of Somoma Media's magazine division. Childs was formerly the publisher of Sactown magazine.

Career panel: Sonoma Valley High School seeks volunteers for its 'Week of Work' Career Panels on Nov. 18 to 22, from 11:55 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. daily.
