Relocation company opens in Glen Ellen

Next to Wine Country Chocolates and a few doors down from Sonoma 707 candle company, a new business has opened in Glen Ellen’s Jack London Village.

Real estate agents Lorene Campi and Lewise Salvadori opened the doors to Urban Relocation Specialists earlier this month. They believe that they are the only full service real estate company with a brick and mortar office in Glen Ellen right now.

Salvadori and Campi are independent contractors within Coldwell Banker. They said they have been given the freedom to develop this new business and “to run with it.”

The pair say they have found themselves busy from day one with clients who started out with a short-term rental in the Valley, began working remotely here and “have fallen in love with the area.”

“They need advice on the things they want to add to their new houses right away—great tech systems, a swimming pool, outdoor entertaining space, home offices, guest houses, the list goes on,” said Campi. “With so many people migrating up to the Valley from other spots in the Bay Area, we saw an unmet need.”

Other real estate agents might help a client find a house, “but we can really help them with the process of relocating here and moving in,” said Salvadori. “So when someone comes to us and wants to buy a house, we can offer them vendor suggestions from painters to electricians — who are really good and that make life just a little bit easier,” added Campi.

“We can also talk about the Valley, the history,” said Campi. “It’s easy to talk about Sonoma because it's so wonderful. We know that they'll enjoy living here.”

Salvadori said that while prices in Sonoma Valley have escalated rapidly, “prices here are still more reasonable than where they are coming from. And we have historically low inventory right now, which is driving the prices up and they're holding steady, despite the smoke and the fires.”
