Businesses impacted by Russian River flooding in Sonoma County

Many businesses across the North Bay were affected by flooding following the big storm this week. Here are some of the most well-known ones.|

The multi-day storm that caused severe flooding across the North Bay this week has closed dozens of businesses, many of them heavily impacted by flooding and other damage.

Guerneville and the surrounding areas were hit especially hard, with the worst flooding seen along the lower Russian River in almost a quarter century.

Riverside resorts took direct hits, and downtown shops and eateries saw floodwater pour in through front and rear doorways. Few businesses were spared.

Further east, The Barlow, an upscale shopping district in Sebastopol, was also overwhelmed by floodwaters from the Laguna de Santa Rosa, affecting more than half of the development's 30 businesses.

The gallery above shows the businesses that we know were damaged by the storm. What places did we miss? Let us know with an email to onlineideas@pressdemocrat.com.
