78, passed away on September 27, 2014 in Sonoma, Calif. She was born in Newport, Rhode Island and was married in 1953. She traveled with her husband, Lewis, during his Navy career and during their 51 year marriage they lived in Virginia, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Southern California, and retired to Arizona. Velma lived in Sonoma during the past eight years and although Velma worked outside the home for a number of years, her passion was her family, home and friends.
She is survived by her children: Wayne, Cheryl, Guy, and Eric; grandchildren; Travis, Meghan, Christopher, Leslie, and Connor; and siblings: Lois, Timothy, Desley, and William.
