Valley business survey launched

Sonoma Valley has more than 2,000 businesses, and the Economic Development Partnership of the city and the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce is hoping to hear from many of them.

The Partnership is conducting an online survey of local businesses to get input about how they are faring, how they view the local business climate, and how they are affected by a variety of issues facing business owners.

The survey is designed to take less than 10 minutes to complete, but allows plenty of opportunities for additional comments.

The partnership conducts a similar survey each year, and uses the results to identify trends and set priorities for initiatives to support a strong and vital local economy.

The survey link can be found at surveymonkey.com/s/SVBusiness or at the homepage of SonomaChamber.com.

It is requested that only one person in each business (an owner or manager) complete the survey. All Valley businesses, including those that are home-based, are encouraged to complete the survey.

Individual responses are confidential. Survey findings will be presented in summary form at the Partnership’s annual “Tops in Sonoma” breakfast forum, set for Friday, Sept. 26, at the Sonoma Golf Club.
