The Friends of the Sonoma Valley Library hosts its quarterly book sale starting Wednesday, Feb. 19, with a members-only preview from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The sale is open to the public from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday hours are from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and the sale continues Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The music trio The Mosey Boys will perform at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Books, books on tape, videos, CDs and DVDs are all priced from $1 to $2.

The books on sale are not used library books – they’re books that are donated to the Friends of the Sonoma Valley Library by the community. The group’s donation shed is located behind the library. There are multiple signs designating the area.

The Friends do not sell any books from previous sales. Each book sale contains books donated since the last sale.

Teachers and educators can contact Dave Dobson at 966-3072 to get free books at the end of the book sale on Saturday afternoon. Children get one free book throughout the book sale.

Sonoma Valley Regional Library is located at 755 W. Napa St., Sonoma.
