Editor, Index-Tribune:
After the sometimes fractious exchange of Measure B opinions and letters in recent weeks, I was heartened to see a pair of (at least) middle-aged guys, both of whom appeared to have done (at least) his share at the Thanksgiving table, amble past our driveway after we got back from church on Sunday. They both had their baseball gloves in hand and were off somewhere for a game of catch. When they strolled back a while later, they were chuckling good-naturedly over something.
I sort of wished I had been a fly on the tree to eavesdrop on their conversation. I know both Larry Barnett and Darius Anderson to be people with points of view, but I’m just as glad I didn’t hear the words, so am left with the image instead. Two good guys acting like the neighbors they are.
