Tracey Ann Griffith

Tracey Ann Griffith, 48, passed away on the evening of Monday, June 23, 2014.

Tracey was born on June 19, 1966 in Marin County to Duane and Helene Frederick and moved to Sonoma when she was 10 years old. She attended Prestwood Elementary School, Altimira Middle School and graduated from Sonoma Valley High School with the class of 1984.

Tracey was married to her best friend and love of her life, Lloyd Griffith II, for 25 years.

Tracey was a teacher’s aide at Sonoma Developmental center and had a love and compassion for her clients, as well as the numerous coworkers she held dear.

Tracey loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing with her family and friends. She also enjoyed NASCAR and had a special love for animals. She will be remembered for her kind heart and always wanting to help others.

Tracey is survived by her husband, Lloyd; her daughter, Nicole (Fernando) Corona, and son, Kyle; her mother, Helene Frederick; and sister, Paige (Scott) Dagner, all of Sonoma; as well as her sister, Denise Frederick, of Parker, Colorado; her grandsons, Eric and Alex Corona; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nephews as well as many beloved friends.

Tracey was preceded in death by her father, Duane Frederick.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 11, at 11 a.m. at St Andrew Presbyterian Church, 16290 Arnold Drive, Sonoma. Tracey’s family welcomes all who would like to share in a celebration of her life following the service.
