Timothy James Scanlon, 85, died June 26, 2014, in Sonoma.

He was a longtime resident of Sonoma. Tim was born December 26, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Rochurst College in Kansas City, and he was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Tim was a realtor in Sonoma for more than 35 years. He was a volunteer at St. Vincent De Paul and a member of the Sonoma Rotary Club for many years.

He is loved and missed by his wife of 59 years, Virginia; their children (and respective spouses), Cathy, Tim Jr., Jennifer and Lisa; as well as their six grandchildren.

Private services will be held. Please send gifts or contributions in memory of Timothy James Scanlon to St. Francis Solano Church.
