Therese Nugent joins Michael Crain Properties

Michael Crain Properties, Vineyard Advisors and Brokers have announced the hiring of Sonoma Realtor Therese Nugent. She will work out of the company’s Sonoma headquarters, and will focus on Michael Crain Properties’ newly created residential real estate division.

“Therese has been a friend for a decade; she has a meticulous work ethic and great energy,” said founder and president Michael Crain. “She has deep knowledge of the wine country lifestyle from her own residency in Sonoma Valley and her service of over 25 years in the Valley’s nonprofit organizations, inclusive of board directorships and advisory positions at the Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation; the Sonoma International Film Festival; the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art and as a founding member of the Junior League of Napa-Sonoma. Therese will be a valuable addition to my team.”

The company specializes in vineyards, wineries, land and estate properties.

Nugent, who is also a trained chef, has been a longtime contributor to the Index-Tribune and SONOMA magazine, writing about food. She was a charter cooking teacher at Ramekins Culinary School, and is in a unique position to speak to all the flavors of wine country living, from its farm-to-table freshness, to the excellent wines produced locally, to sharing her own love of how to raise children well with healthy cooking, added Crain.

Nugent explained, “I joined Michael Crain Properties, Vineyard Advisors and Brokers because I wanted to affiliate with a locally headquartered real estate firm whose founder and president I would know personally, and whose interest and love of the wine country community is as deeply rooted as my own. I also love it that Michael Crain Properties’ motto of ‘Serving your real estate needs from the soil up’ reflects all that I believe is the bounty at the core of wine country living.”

Nugent lives in Sonoma Valley with her husband, Mike, and their three children.

Nugent can be reached through the company website vineyardadvisors.com, or at therese@vineyardadvisors.com.
