SONOMA VALLEY TENNIS Association is hosting a one-day USTA NorCal sanctioned mixed doubles tournament tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Maxwell Park courts. Also, the SVTA junior tennis program for boys and girls ages 4 to 11 continues on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays through Nov. 2, at the Maxwell Park courts. SONOMA VALLEY HIGH School’s cheerleading program is raising funds for much-needed uniforms and equipment for the current season. Anyone who would like to donate can call the SVHS student activities department at 933-4016.

 

SONOMA VALLEY GIRLS Softball Association will hold three sign-up sessions for girls 6-to-14-years-old at the Second Street Firehouse from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, Nov. 12 and Dec. 3; and from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16. To register online, go to sonomagirlsfastpitch.com.

 

VALLEY OF THE Moon Trap Club will hold its annual Thanksgiving turkey shoot on Sunday, Nov. 17, starting at 9:30 a.m. – five-man squad sign-ups begin at 8:30 a.m. – at the club’s South Burndale Road site, with a full turkey lunch available for $8.
