SVTA adult/junior tennis, Vintage Fest runs, Murphy’s Pub Giants ticket packages, rugby club

SONOMA VALLEY TENNIS Association’s next Friday Night Round Robin event at the Maxwell Farms Regional Park courts is this Friday, Sept. 28, with late registration and warmups starting at 5:30, and play beginning at 6 p.m. To pre-register, or for more details, email Corky Rosengren at crosedan1032@aol.com. SVTA’s junior tennis program for boys and girls ages 4 to 11 will take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays through Nov. 2, at the Maxwell Park courts, where its final free adult clinic for beginners and returning players will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19. VINTAGE FESTIVAL 12K and 5K runs, the annual fundraiser for Sonoma Valley High School’s cross-country and track and field programs, will take place at 8:30 a.m. this Sunday, Sept. 29. MUPRHY’S IRISH PUB has 100 tickets for the San Francisco Giants’ final series of the season against the San Diego Padres the weekend of Sept. 27 through 29, at AT&T Park, and will be packaged with round-trip bus transportation, food, refreshments and a tailgate party for $99 a person. NAPA VALLEY RUGBY is offering “touch” rugby starting at 6 p.m. every Thursday night at Kennedy Park, 2295 Streblow Dr., Napa, with a barbecue to follow, for players and rugby enthusiasts of all ages and experience.
