Sunday Springs fire

Sonoma Valley Fire and Rescue Capt. Joe Morrison briefs Division Chief John Franceschi at a fire on Buena Vista Avenue Sunday afternoon.

The fire was contained to three residential yards with two outbuildings destroyed and a third damaged. A deck, fencing and one of the houses was also damaged. Fire personnel were at the scene for three hours, and went back Monday to determine the cause.

In addition to Sonoma Valley, mutual aid came from Schell-Vista, Glen Ellen, CalFire and Kenwood fire departments.
