St. Francis 8th-grade boys claim CYO D4 hoops crown

The St. Francis Solano eighth-grade boys’ CYO basketball team recently went undefeated through the regular season and playoffs en route to capturing the Division-4 title.

Averaging 41.6 points a game, while yielding just 20.8 points a game, the St. Francis eighth-grade boy cagers compilied a 12-0 record, which included a 62-32 victory in the playoff championship game.

Comprising the St. Francis eighth-grade boys, coached by Justin Garrett, were Chris Bruton, Kyle Conway, Anthony Costanzo, Trent Garrett, Tyler Garrett, Max Gustafson, Nace Momsen and Dylan Samaniego.
