St. Francis 7th-grade girls snare CYO title

The St. Francis Solano seventh-grade girls’ basketball team recently posted a 9-1 record and edged St. Mary’s 24-22 in the CYO playoffs championship game to capture the Division-2 title.

Comprising the CYO champion St. Francis seventh-grade hoops girls, coached by Tobin Ginter and Christine Neles, were Tessa Freudenberger, Annika Ginter, Hannah Rose McNeely, Annie Neles, Julia Sangiacomo, Sofia Vitale and Mikaela Zeiter.
