St. Francis 6th-grade hoops boys snare CYO title

After an 0-2 start, the St. Francis Solano sixth-grade basketball boys won eight of their next 10 games, including two playoff victories en route to claiming the CYO Division-3 crown with a nail-biting 38-36 triumph over St. Vincent’s in the final.

Comprising the CYO champion St. Francis sixth-grade hoops boys  – directed by head coach Charlie DeTorres and assistant coach Dave Johnson – are Ezra Alberson, Brady Armitage, Dante Cavaz, Reed Hewitt, Zach Johnson, Andrew McKale, Cedric Oltramare, Luke Sendaydiego and Alex Sperry.
