The Sonoma Valley High baseball Dragons pounded out 15 doubles Tuesday in a 31-0 rout of Elsie Allen that was halted after five innings because of the 10-run rule.

Patrick Schneider started for the Dragons and tossed a two-hit shutout for the win.

Kole Morgan and Logan Mak each had three doubles while Tyler Garrett, Max Handron and Jeremy Mackling had two doubles apiece. Schneider and Dom Chiotti joined the hit parade as they collected base hits in their first plate appearance of the year.

“Every starter had at least two hits and two runs scored,” said Coach Ian Slaney.

The Dragons game at Healdsburg was washed out Wednesday, but was re-scheduled for Thursday night, results not available at press time.

The Dragon return home to Arnold Field Friday night for a date with Piner. Game time is 7 p.m.
