NASCAR returns to Sonoma in June

Sonoma Raceway offers another season of high-powered racing|

Sonoma Raceway’s major event season kicks off with NASCAR the weekend of June 22.

Tickets for major events at the Northern California racing facility are now available, including the Toyota/Save Mart 350 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (June 22-24), Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series (July 27-29) and Grand Prix of Sonoma Verizon IndyCar Series season finale (Sept. 14-16).

Sonoma Raceway will again offer its Buy Early and Save options in 2018. By purchasing tickets well in advance of NASCAR, NHRA or IndyCar, fans can secure the best seats at the best prices.

Sonoma Raceway also offers Toyota/Save Mart 350 tickets starting at $49 for race day. Camping around the facility, which has sold out the last two years, is another popular option, as is the Pre-Race Pass for Sunday morning.

As a nod to the many families it hosts each year, the raceway will continue kids’ pricing and free admission during its NASCAR and IndyCar event weekends.

Children 12 and under will be admitted free to the raceway with the purchase of an adult ticket on Friday and Saturday of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 weekend, June 22-23, as well as all three days of the Grand Prix of Sonoma weekend, Sept. 14-16. NASCAR race-day tickets for children 12 and under are $10 each with the purchase of an adult ticket.

The 2018 Sonoma Raceway calendar also includes the Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival (June 1-3); NHRA Division 7 Drag Races, presented by Korbel (July 20-22); and the Classic Sports Racing Group Charity Challenge (Oct. 5-7). Children 12 and under are admitted free all weekend to each of these events.

Fans can purchase individual or weekend tickets, as well as secure camping and ticket packages, for 2018 major events by calling 800-870-RACE (7223), visiting an account representative at the raceway or by online at SonomaRaceway.com/events or ticketmaster.com.
