Girls Basketball
The Lady Dragons basketball team bounced back from their recent loss to Analy with a 44-31 victory over El Molino, at home on Friday, Jan. 12.
The victory gives the girls a 3-1 league record, behind the 4-0 Petaluma squad.
The Lady Dragons meet the Trojans on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at home, a game that’s sure to provide high-quality play all around.
Girls Soccer
Last Wednesday’s girls soccer game was a cross-town rivalry of sorts, as Presentation School grad Micki Kalos Schillinger played goalie for rival Sonoma Academy, and kept the Lady Dragons scoreless in a 2-0 match.
SVHS goalie Ellen Bon also had a strong game, making multiple saves to keep the score from going higher.
The rematch between the two teams is later this month, in Sonoma on Jan. 29.
The Lady Dragons played last night against Elsie Allen, results not available at presstime.
