The Lady Dragon spikers made quick work of Elsie Allen Thursday, beating them in straight sets.

The scores were 25-3, 25-12 and 25-14.

Emily Gonzalez and Layla Schoeningh both registered eight kills while Kiana Janson chipped in with seven.

Raegan Cordero led the Lady Dragons with five service aces while Schoeningh had four and Ava Rognlien had three.

β€œIt was a solid win and great team effort across the board,” said Coach Rand Rognlien.

The junior varsity also won and now sports a 14-0 record.

Sonoma is scheduled to host Petaluma tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 10. But as of late Monday afternoon, there had been no determination if the game would be played since the gym is being used as an evacuation center. Classes had already been cancelled Tuesday.

The Lady Dragons are in third place in the Sonoma County League with a 7-2 record. Petaluma is undefeated in league play with an 8-0 mark and is in first place. Analy, with a 7-1 record sits in second place.
