Sunday’s Napa-to-Sonoma Half Marathon will impact traffic

Race starts at 7 a.m. in Napa County and will be finished by 11 a.m.|

The Napa-to-Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon on Sunday, July 16, will lead to some traffic changes on the east side of Sonoma.

The runners will start at the Cuvaison Winery on Duhig Road in Napa County at 7 a.m. They’ll be running Duhig Road to Ramal Road to Dale to Burndale Road and cross Highway 12 on Burndale. Once they cross Highway 12, they’ll continue on Burndale Road and cross Napa Road at Denmark Street. They’ll continue on Denmark to Seventh Street East to East Napa Street and then proceed east on Napa Street to the Plaza.

In Sonoma, the police department will close the westbound lane of East Napa Street between Seventh Street East and the Plaza from 7:50 to 11 a.m. But both East Spain Street and East MacArthur will remain open in both directions.
