Juliana Rossini, a senior at Justin-Siena High School, has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer at a Florida college.

Rossini, who is a forward, will play for Florida Southern College, an NCAA DII school in the Sunshine State Conference. The Sonoma resident will major in biology with a pre-med track.

Rossini began her soccer career playing for Sonoma Valley Soccer Club U6-U10. She then played for Santa Rosa United where her team won the State Cup Championship twice and later competed in the Elite Club National League. Currently she plays for North Coast FC in Petaluma. Rossini played three years on the Justin-Siena varsity soccer team.

“Juliana has all the attributes that a college soccer player needs to have to be successful in the next level,” Justin-Siena coach Eric Branagan-Franco said. “She is quick, good technically, powerful strike, not afraid to be physical and can read the game.”
