The Jags scored four in the top of the fifth, but it wasn’t enough.

“Our bats are really going to drive us this year,” said Coach Keeley Ray.

Ally Alcayaga led the hit parade, going two-for-four with a home run and three RBIs, Hensic was two-for-three with a walk and junior Molly Brown was two-for-four with two RBIs. The win gives Sonoma a 4-0 mark.

“Next week, we’ll be tested,” Ray said. “We’re at Pinole Valley on Monday and at Marin Catholic on Wednesday.”
