Dragon swimmers sink Petaluma

Boys undefeated in SCL meets|

Both Sonoma Dragon boys and girls swim teams won their last meet against Petaluma before heading into this weekend’s Sonoma County League finals.

The boys, who went undefeated in the SCL, beat Petaluma 114-44.

Winning relay teams included Ethan Smith, Owen Summers, Dominic Tommasi and Jack Lewis in the 200 Medley relay with a time of 1:55.05; Lewis, Summers, Max Shepard and James Greenslade in 200 free relay with a time of 1:49.04; and Smith, Nathaniel Silva, Summers and Tommasi in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:48.05.

Individual event winners included Jackson Mighell in the 200 free (2:15.00), Tommasi in the 200 IM (2:19.60) and 100 fly (58.72), Lewis in the 50 free (24.38) and 100 breast (1:10.05 Shepard in the 100 free (59.72); and Smith in the 100 back (1:06.02).

The girls, who only lost one dual meet this year – to Analy – beat Petaluma 124-41.

Winning relay teams included 200 Medley relay team of Hannah Ladouceur, Cameron Taggesell, Maya Grajczyk, and Abby Parr (2:06.82); the 200 free relay team of Grace Turner, Delia Rogers, Heather Durfee and Taggesell (2:04.88); and the 400 freestyle relay team of Ladouceur, Taggesell, Grajczyk and Parr (4:18.54).

Individual event winners were Ladouceur in the 200 free (2:11.10) and the 100 back (1:08.13); Parr in the 100 free (1:02.55) and 50 free (27.59), Turner in the 200 IM (2:49.51); and Grajczyk in the 100 fly (1:13.81) and 100 breast (1:16.59).
