The Dragons beginning their spring preseason workouts on Monday, Feb. 8|

With Sonoma Valley High School’s winter basketball and wrestling programs in the stretch runs of their Sonoma County League seasons and heading toward the postseason, the Dragons are on the verge of beginning their spring preseason workouts in other sports.

Sonoma’s six spring sports programs – boys baseball, girls softball, boys and girls track and field, boys and girls swimming, and boys tennis and golf – start practice sessions for the 2016 season next week, on Monday, Feb. 8.

Any student athlete wanting to be a participant needs to have all her or his paperwork – including current mandatory physical examinations, proof of insurance, completed emergency cards, signed (student and parent) code of conduct forms and paid fees – completed before practicing.

Paperwork, paid fees and proof of a physical for all Sonoma Valley spring athletes can be turned in at the student activities office Monday through Friday. Call 933-4010.
