Sonoma students visit USS Hornet

Thanks to a field trip organized by Sonoma Valley High School, all students enrolled in U.S. history had the chance to spend a morning aboard the U.S.S. Hornet in Alameda, and the afternoon exploring Rosie the Riveter National Park in Richmond in February. Students were able to speak with veterans of World War II, Korea, Vietnam and the Persian Gulf War.
