SONOMA BOCCE BALL Association will begin its 12 spring leagues on Sunday, March 30, and is taking sign-ups for new and existing members wanting to play in 2014, with openings in the Monday morning league. SONOMA VALLEY BABE Ruth Baseball Association is still holding registration for all players 13-to-15-years-old on or before April 30, as well as accepting letters of intent, including a resumé of coaching experience, to manage or coach during the 2014 season, with letters forwarded to S.V.B.R., P.O. 2113, Sonoma, CA 95476. NORCAL ACADEMY BASKETBALL for girls in fourth-through-11th grades are taking sign-ups through March 9, and will hold skill development sessions twice a week beginning March 10, with tryouts for a competitive traveling team also being held. SONOMA VALLEY HIGH School’s seventh annual Dragon Hall of Fame banquet and ceremony will be held for the third straight year at Hanna Boys Center, 17000 Arnold Drive, on Saturday, May 10. SONOMA STOMPERS PRO baseball team, which is a member of the six-team Pacific Association of Professional Baseball Clubs league, will be holding its first open tryout from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, at Albert Park in San Rafael. Pre-registration cost is $100 and day-of registration is $150.
