Sonoma Little League all-star teams named

With the regular season and postseason tournaments complete and the champions crowned – the Majors and Minors AAA Division Bears and Indians, respectively – Sonoma Little League recently announced its Majors Division all-star teams who will compete in the Little League District 53 tourneys, which begin this weekend.

Comprising the Sonoma 12-year-old all-stars – directed by manager Curt Dunkle and coaches Johnny Armitage, Saul Rozema and Dave Boydell – are Luigi Albano-Dito, Brady Armitage, Jack Boydell, Nolan Dunkle, Dom Fiorito, Trevor Griggs-Demmin, Roam Neff, Will Natuzzi, Riley Phelan, Tucker Pierce, Tanner Rozema, Alex Sperry and Trevor Velarde.

The Sonoma 11-year-old all-stars – directed by manager Nate Reynes and coaches Tony Tommasi and Tony Neles – consist of Dax Adams, Jake Baker, Joe Costanzo, Colin Dewees, Ryan Hengehold, Giovanni Hernandez, Mason Matuliatis, Ross Neles, Dusty Pierce, Jamie Pierce, Gage Rowland, Hank Schoeningh, Anthony Tommasi and Ty Vanderlinden.

Comprising the Sonoma 10-year-old all-stars – directed by manager Mike Sangiacomo and coaches Craig Ray and Marco Girish – are Adam Duffield, Madden Edwards, Joey Fiorito, Dom Girish, Ashton Kirby, Anders Mathison, Gianni Natuzzi, Jasper Ray, Gavin Rognlien, Robby Sangiacomo, Bennett Steiger and Coop Verdu.

The Sonoma Little League’s AAA Minors all-star team is playing in the annual Mark West Tournament located at 4650 Lavell Road in Santa Rosa.

Sonoma’s AAA all-stars face Petaluma American at noon tomorrow, Saturday, June 21; before playing Petaluma Valley at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 22; and then battle host Mark West at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 23.

The Sonoma AAA Minors all-stars – directed by manager Johnny Armitage and coaches Jim Vides and Peter Smith – consist of Alex Angiuano, Brett Armitage, Gavin Blanusa, Adrian Buckley, Sam Cutting, Jayden Filippi, Alex Hoffman, Bear Melendez, Carson Smith, Jaden Vides, Kahlil Villas-Martinis and Landen Waldrop.
