Signs dominate Tuesday's Design Review panel agenda

Signs dominate the agenda of the Sonoma Design Review and Historic Preservation Commission when it meets tonight, Feb. 25, its second time this month.

The commission will review revisions to the sign program approved for the West Plaza Shopping Center, at 551-569 Fifth St. W., a sign program for the new OSO Restaurant, proposed for a former real estate company space at 9 E. Napa St., and signs and design review for JAQK Cellars which is going into the old Red Wolf Gallery space behind Sign of the Bear, but for which the address is on Church Street behind the building.

Additional consideration will be given to Coffee and Coco, a mobile coffee trailer to be located at the 76 Station site on West Napa, external building modifications for the new Pet Food Express going into Suites 502-510 at the shopping center at 500 W. Napa St., and consideration of paint colors for Studebaker Cheesecake at 248 W. Napa St.

Some of the spaces qualify as historic buildings and several are requesting variances.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Meeting Room at 177 First St. W.
