IN SUPPORT OF Sonoma Valley High School senior Mike Seelye’s cancer fight – he was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma – Dutch Bros. Coffee at the corner of Broadway and Andrieux Street will be donating 100 percent of proceeds from all strawberry smoothies sold today through Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 27 and 28, to help offset his medical expenses. SONOMA VALLEY HIGH School’s varsity boys soccer team is holding a carwash fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 27, at Sonoma Chevrolet, 697 W. Napa Street.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS of Sonoma Valley is currently holding basketball sign-ups for boys and girls in third-through-eighth grades at the BGCSV Clubhouse in Maxwell Farms Regional Park, 100 Verano Ave., with a walk-in registration session taking place from 10 a,m, to 2 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 27. SONOMA VALLEY MENTORING Alliance and the Kiwanis Club of Sonoma Plaza have again teamed up for the fourth annual Golf-A-Thon, which takes place on Friday, Oct. 3, at Oakmont’s East Golf Course. There’s no cost to play, however, competitors are asked to raise sponsorship money, with only room for 16 more golfers.
