Seeds of Learning fundraiser Saturday

The Sonoma-based nonprofit Seeds of Learning (SOL) will host a fundraising dinner and auction from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at Hanna Boys Center.

All proceeds will be used to build schools in economically impoverished communities in Central America.

In addition to raising funds, the annual dinner is also an opportunity to thank and celebrate the many donors and volunteers who support SOL throughout the year. Board member Laurie Dinwiddie said, “The theme of the event is ‘Many Hands, One SOL’. We chose this because we know that our work would not be possible without the incredible support we receive from the SOL community, especially here in Sonoma Valley.”

Dinner will be prepared by the Ceres Project, and Chef Carlo Cavallo is donating appetizers.

Tickets are available for $95. For more information, call 939-0471, or email gail@seedsoflearning.org.
