Sebastiani screens ‘Bullitt’

Next up in the Sebastiani Theatre Foundation’s “Vintage Film Series series is “Bullitt,” showing at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18.

Directed by Peter Yates, “Bullitt” (1968), stars Steve McQueen, Jacqueline Bisset, and Robert Vaughn. Written by Alan Trustman, Harry Kleiner and Robert L. Fish, this film is about an all-guts, no-glory San Francisco cop who becomes determined to find the underworld kingpin who killed the witness in his protection. Rated PG(114 minutes).Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and wine will be for sale by the glass.

Vintage Film Series tickets can be purchased for $8 a movie. Tickets are available in advance or at the door.

All proceeds will benefit the Sebastiani Theatre Foundation. Patrons are invited to “dress in the era” for each film.
